What To Listen To While Stuck At Home
Hello everybody! I hope you all are staying healthy and safe this weekend. To continue my Stuck At Home series, I’m going to share some music and podcasts that you might enjoy. Listening to a podcast or a playlist is especially important to me when I’m working out, and I’m sure many of you are using this time to go for runs around the neighborhood or do at home workouts, and may be searching for something to listen to while you do so. While these recommendations may be more attuned to my personal tastes than yours, I hope you will give them a listen and see if you enjoy.
MUSIC
SPOTIFY PLAYLISTS
If you’re a music lover, you’re probably familiar with the platform Spotify. One of my favorite things about Spotify is that they have hundreds of playlists already created for you. These are a few that I’ve had on repeat lately. Just search for them in the Spotify search bar and they should be easy to find. These playlists are great for just popping on in the background while you clean, cook, or work.
Indie Pop 2010’s
Study Break
Mellow Classics
Just Soft
Songs to Sing in the Car
ALBUMS
Some of the albums I can’t stop listening to.
Melodrama by Lorde
Doom Days by Bastille
ANONYMOUS by blackbear
Norman Fucking Rockwell by Lana Del Rey
PODCASTS
I recently wrote a blog post on my favorite podcasts, and included descriptions of each one and which episode you should start with. Check it out here!
That’s about it! I tend to listen to the same music on repeat, so I don’t have a wide range of suggestions, but these are the playlists and albums that I really love and share with everyone I meet. If you want further recommendations, check out my Spotify account. I make a playlist every month of all my current favorite songs.
This concludes my Stuck At Home series, and I hope you all have found at least one book, movie, podcast, etc that will keep you entertained while we wait out this pandemic. Thanks for reading!
